Zocdoc is seeking an Analyst to join our highly motivated and skilled Finance team. You will support critical financial planning and analysis processes as well as create ad hoc analysis of business issues. You will own company-wide operating expenses, and you will provide analytical support on value-creating initiatives and strategic projects. This is a highly visible role with direct interaction with senior management. Your role will be critical in maintaining the health and financial discipline in a high growth environment.

Responsibilities:

Own the Finance-Business relationship for several departments, partnering with department executives to deliver core planning, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities

Dive deep into financial data to deliver insights that will inform the company forecast of the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement

Assist business leaders with financial analysis to support strategic decision making and effective capital allocation (e.g., "What-If" decision making and unit economics analysis)

Consolidate financials and aggregate KPI's into digestible formats for leadership across the organization

Maintain the company's financial operating model

Work closely with Controllership to understand and report on variances between forecast and actuals

Prepare reporting and other materials for both internal and external audiences

Participate in the annual firmwide, budgeting process

Experienced:

Experience in a financial role; preferably in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Corporate Rotational / Training Program or Audit/Accounting

Working knowledge of SQL, VBA and/or Python

Very strong Excel modeling skills and ability to work in large, mechanically complex files

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other technical / STEM discipline

Comfortable analyzing large volumes of complex data and presenting key findings to senior management

Ability to pivot between multiple projects across different initiatives

Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Financial systems experience is a strong plus e.g. Netsuite, etc.

CPA accreditation is a plus
